All Bronzeville 5K Run/Walk finishers will receive an awesome finisher medal when they cross the finish line!

Parking & Transit

There is limited street parking available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Bronzeville neighborhood. Please allow ample time to make it to the start of the race. Visit the CTA website for more information on public transit options. Please note that there is no gear check available for this race.

Packet Pick Up

Come pick up your race day packet, which includes a t-shirt, race day bib, and goodie bag. You must bring a government ID to pick up your packet. If you can’t make it to one of the Packet Pickup days, don’t fret, you’re welcome pick up your packet the morning of the event.

Become a Volunteer

The 3rd Annual Bronzeville 5K Run/Walk is seeking energetic, hardworking volunteers to assist with Packet Pickup and Race Day events. Volunteers provide key support to the participants as they run, celebrate and support this historic event!

We need Volunteers to commit to the entire shift - please make sure you are available from the start to finish of desired positions (typically 4-6 hours). Volunteers must be 14 years or older. If you are interested in working with a friend, please register for the same volunteer area. As a thank you for volunteering, volunteers will receive specific volunteer gear.
